Prince of Fartness
Heir of Emission
Prince of Fartness is Sir Gas’s son and chosen heir: a vain, entitled, jealous, snot-nosed tyrant-in-training with a title he does not realize is an insult. He wants the throne, the fear, and the room-filling authority of his father, but inherited none of Sir Gas’s size, charisma, or confidence. Every threat, scheme, and power pose is really an audition for the one person whose approval he can never quite earn.

Raised in Princess Puff’s social circle, the Prince mistook proximity for popularity and her friends for potential dates, including Puff herself. Resentful of the love and attention she received, he gave up on becoming likable and used royal privilege to train with the most expensive dark wizards in the forbidden Toxic Arts. Now he can control, ignite, and chemically alter toxic gases, turning insecurity into firepower as he schemes for the throne and tries, usually unsuccessfully, to prove he deserves it.
Personal Trait
The Prince is a walking contradiction: an ambitious strategist who wants to be feared like a future king, yet every threat hides a spoiled child desperate for his father’s approval. He is persistent enough to return from humiliation with another scheme, cruel enough to turn jealousy into lifelong trauma, and creepy enough to treat Princess Puff’s rejection as a problem to solve instead of an answer.
Abilities
Trained by the most expensive dark wizards royalty could hire, the Prince practices the forbidden Toxic Arts, the antithesis of the Clean Puff Protocol. He can control, ignite, and chemically alter toxic gases, shaping them into green fire, explosive attacks, choking clouds, and defensive barriers. His magic can poison the air, cloud minds, and restrict airflow, giving the spoiled heir exactly the kind of dangerous power he has spent his life pretending to deserve.
Lords of Emission
Flatulus
Earl of Consequences
Flatulus was once a quiet assassin employed by Puffdom’s underground crime syndicates, until his impossible-to-ignore “stealth emissions” made secrecy difficult and unemployment inevitable. Mocked for the weakness that ruined his career, he disappeared into the shadows until Sir Gas offered his shame a new purpose. Flatulus responded by creating Fumejutsu, a complete toxic martial discipline built around everything that once made him unemployable.

Now Flatulus is the silent, secretive assassin of the Fart Dynasty and intends to become the greatest killer no one ever saw, smelled, or survived long enough to review. Disciplined, adaptable, and ruthlessly efficient, he reveals almost nothing about himself. The only thing capable of breaking his focus is Shogun Shiba: his mortal enemy and the one opponent important enough to interrupt an actual assassination for a needlessly dramatic staredown.
Personal Trait
Flatulus transforms humiliation into discipline, toxins into tools, and nearly every problem into a potential murder. He is patient enough to hide in the shadows but often too ruthless to preserve anyone for questioning. His secrecy makes him difficult to predict, while his ambition and obsession with Shogun can turn a flawless operation into an intensely personal sword fight.
Abilities
Flatulus practices Fumejutsu, a martial art based on the forbidden Toxic Arts. He manipulates toxins and his own emissions to conceal his movement, deliver poisonous strikes, and render opponents unconscious before they see him coming. He moves through shadows, lays delayed traps, and lets the damage reveal itself only when escape is impossible. Combined with blades, throwing stars, and strict assassin training, Fumejutsu makes Flatulus a threat his victims usually smell only when it is already too late.

Unknown Alignment
Knight of Question
The Faceless Knight
The Knight of Question was once a handsome, ordinary schoolboy in Princess Puff’s orbit: kind, bright, annoyingly good-looking, and very much in love with her. Puff’s affection made him an immediate target for the jealous Prince of Fartness, who arranged a cruel prank involving a locker, a bucket of glitter, and a propane tank. The humiliation became a catastrophe, leaving the boy’s face no longer a face and his old life impossible to return to.

He dropped out, fled public life, and reemerged as a faceless armored knight-for-hire wandering Puffdom. Now he occasionally helps those who truly need it while keeping his identity and intentions sealed behind steel. To Princess Puff, he may become an ally, a rival, or something far more complicated: an old love wrapped in mystery, armor, and enough unresolved trauma to make “fixing him” feel like a terrible and therefore irresistible idea.
Personal Trait
The Knight of Question is a walking contradiction: a kind, bright boy hidden inside a faceless antihero. He fled the world after cruelty turned him into a public humiliation, yet still chooses to help people in genuine need. His armor makes him mysterious and intimidating, but it also keeps everyone, especially Princess Puff, at a safe distance from the wounded person underneath.
Abilities
Channels The Unanswered Flame, a living green fire born from the Prince of Fartness’s propane prank. It feeds on Toxic Gas, strengthening his armor and flowing through The Final Answer, a sword forged from the locker and shattered tank that destroyed his face. The flame lets him cut through toxic magic and cross poisoned zones with Why, his scarred armored warhorse. But the more toxins he absorbs, the harder the fire becomes to control.
Unknown Alignment
Romeo
Balance Regulator
Romeo is a ten-year-old orphan raised inside Sir Gas’s castle, although no one knows who his parents were or why he was placed in the care of a man barely capable of raising his own son. Forced to grow up without a family or guardian, Romeo became observant, self-reliant, and far more mature than most adults around him.

Sir Gas keeps Romeo close because the boy is dual-born: touched by both Wind and Gas, with an inherent connection to the Clean Puff Protocol and the Toxic Arts. Too strange for ordinary people and too valuable for villains to release, Romeo belongs everywhere and nowhere at once. He may be the key to restoring balance to Puffdom—or simply a sensitive, moody child trapped inside a destiny no one has explained to him.
Personal Trait
Romeo is open-minded enough to carry two opposing forces without treating either one as the whole truth. He feels the emotional wounds of Puffdom deeply but hides his loneliness behind distance, dark moods, and carefully practiced independence. His greatest insecurity is not knowing whether Sir Gas protects him because he matters or merely because he is useful.
Abilities
Romeo possesses an innate connection to both the Clean Puff Protocol and the Toxic Arts, allowing him to channel clean and toxic energy despite their opposing nature. His control remains undeveloped, and even Sir Gas does not understand the true limits of his power. If Romeo learns to balance both forces rather than surrender to either one, he could become the living bridge between the fractured Wind and Gas bloodlines.
Guardians of the Puff
General puff
Commander of the Gasless Army
General Puff is the tactical leader of the Guardians and the only person in the resistance still pretending the operation has a chain of command. Disciplined, strict, tidy, and relentlessly responsible, he approaches everything like a military campaign, whether the team is infiltrating enemy territory or shopping at a farmers’ market. When Puffdom turned on Princess Puff, he trusted her innocence, reported for resistance duty, and made it his mission to keep the Guardians structured, focused, and moving.

Raised in Puffdom’s hyper-masculine military, the General believes protocol can contain any crisis and control can contain every truth. Beneath the medals, however, he buries softness, desire, and rage until his composure finally detonates. When pushed too far, he involuntarily transforms into General Hot Puff, a wonderfully choreographed killing machine who dance-fights through enemies to dance-pop anthems that appear from nowhere. Afterwards, he claims to remember nothing. No one presses the issue.
Personal Trait
General Puff is Lawful Neutral in a pressed uniform: loyal to duty, disciplined to a fault, and more comfortable with protocol than emotion. His responsibility keeps the resistance alive, but his rigidity turns every problem into a campaign plan, including those that clearly need improvisation. He believes control can keep every truth contained, yet the tighter he holds the line, the more spectacularly his repressed rage breaks it.
Abilities
Combines a keen military mind with tactical planning, battlefield command, and strict operational discipline. Under extreme anger, he involuntarily transforms into General Hot Puff, a choreographed killing machine who overwhelms enemies through precise dance-combat while dance-pop music appears from nowhere. The transformation is devastatingly effective, completely unplanned, and followed by his firm insistence that he remembers absolutely nothing.
Guardians of the Puff
Rosie
the Wunderhund
Rosie the Wunderhund is Princess Puff’s tiny luxury companion and former centerpiece of her royal influencer image. Before The Great Rip, she was cute, adored, accessorized, carried everywhere, and enjoyed a better quality of life than most of Puffdom. To everyone watching, Rosie was simply another expensive accessory with a bark, a wardrobe, and severe genetic disadvantages.

But Rosie was always paying attention. While Puff posed for photographs, her tiny companion quietly learned how the Realm and its people actually worked. After the Princess’s exile, Rosie becomes the emotional compass of the Guardians: a suspiciously perceptive little dog who notices danger, deception, and important clues long before the supposedly qualified heroes do.
Personal Trait
Rosie is a pampered royal accessory with the instincts of a seasoned investigator. Beneath the adorable face is a watchful, stubborn, and deeply intuitive companion who understands people better than they understand themselves. She rarely explains what she knows, mostly because she is a dog, but she has an unsettling habit of being right.
Abilities
Rosie can sense approaching danger, locate hidden objects, and sniff out lies with uncanny accuracy. She also has a mysterious talent for appearing in exactly the right place at exactly the right moment, often discovering the clue, passage, or person the Guardians failed to notice. Whether this comes from exceptional canine instinct or something stranger within Puffdom remains unknown.
Guardians of the Puff
Prep the Frog
Wizard of Liquidity
Prep the Frog is the Guardians’ resident genius, former top scientist of the Realm, and one-time superstar DJ. As Princess Puff’s childhood friend, he is one of the few people who sees the girl beneath the crown and cares enough to tell her when she is being an idiot. Unfortunately, he usually delivers that truth without warning, tact, or any awareness that the mission briefing has already started.

Behind Prep’s bloodshot eyes is a mind capable of understanding Puffdom’s magical science, calculating twelve possible outcomes, and inventing a solution from broken relics and terrible supplies. From the outside, his methods look like disorganized nonsense. From the inside, they are highly advanced disorganized nonsense—made less reliable by smoke, snacks, sudden paranoia, and his tendency to lose focus immediately before something explodes.
Personal Trait
Prep is brilliant, inventive, and genuinely funny, but almost impossible to manage. He treats dangerous magical systems like puzzles, authority like a suggestion, and correct answers like objects that should be thrown into the room without cushioning. His humor keeps the Guardians sane; his paranoia, tactlessness, and complete lack of organization frequently test whether they deserve to remain that way.
Abilities
Prep carries the Scroll of Liquidity, a magical tablet that allows him to analyze and manipulate the world around him. He uses it to study the Clean Puff Protocol, examine corrupted relics, understand unfamiliar magical systems, and improvise working prototypes from whatever equipment survives the mission. His greatest weapon is a mind that can see solutions no one else notices—provided he remembers what problem everyone was trying to solve.
Guardians of the Puff
Airelynn
Queen Mother
Queen Airelynn was once the beloved ruler of Puffdom and the standard against which every good monarch was measured. Wise, compassionate, and genuinely devoted to her citizens, she governed through restraint, prevention, and the belief that power should be protected rather than torn from the land for profit. Her presence made the Realm feel so safe and cared for that citizens affectionately called her “Queen Mommy.”

But the peace Airelynn created also became her greatest blind spot. She believed duty, family, and basic sanity would hold the royal bloodline together, mistaking Sir Gas’s obvious coup energy for little more than a difficult personality. By the time she understood the danger, Puff was unprepared, the Realm was breaking, and it was too late. Airelynn vanished during The Great Rip, though some believe her essence still survives within the Great Puff Protocol.
Personal Trait
Airelynn is nurturing without weakness, idealistic without cruelty, and wise without being infallible. She sees leadership as protection rather than ownership and always searches for the peaceful answer first. Her compassion inspires loyalty, but her faith in people can become naivety, allowing ambition and betrayal to grow unnoticed beneath a kingdom that appears perfectly safe.
Abilities
Airelynn is an experienced practitioner and teacher of the Clean Puff Protocol, an ancient discipline that channels Puffdom’s clean air and natural magic. Through it, she can manipulate Clean Puff energy to clear toxic zones, restore healthy airflow, protect communities, and support their recovery. The Protocol can also be used offensively and defensively, though Airelynn favors restraint. Since her disappearance, some believe her essence has merged with the Great Puff Protocol and continues to guide Puff and the Guardians.
Guardians of the Puff
Shogun Shiba
The Gasless Samurai
Shogun Shiba is a half-human, half-dog samurai from the eastern regions of Puffdom: loyal, strong, disciplined, and loyal again, because he is a very good boy and deserves the praise. A master of the forgotten art of Quiet Puff, he channels the energy of the Clean Puff Protocol through ancient swordsmanship, staying calm and precise while everyone around him spirals. Unless there is a squirrel or fireworks nearby.

After The Great Rip, Shogun swore his blade to Princess Puff and became one of the Guardians’ most dependable fighters, trackers, and protectors. His enchanted katana cuts through toxic gas with precision and minimal civilian casualties, while shifting between human and Shiba forms amplifies his senses, agility, prey drive, zoomies, and less dignified canine urges. In battle, he is focused and elegant. Outside it, literal thinking and dog instincts can hijack the mission, turning a noble warrior into the Guardians’ most honorable liability.
Personal Trait
Shogun Shiba is a noble contradiction: an ancient-code samurai with unwavering loyalty, perfect discipline, and the impulse control of a dog who just heard a snack bag open in another room. He brings honor and emotional steadiness to the Guardians, but his dignity is always one squirrel, thrown object, or badly worded command away from collapse.
Abilities
Channels Clean Puff Protocol energy through his enchanted katana and the forgotten sword art of Quiet Puff, cutting through toxic gas with precision and minimal civilian casualties. He can shift between human and Shiba forms at will, amplifying his senses, agility, prey drive, and zoomies. In battle, these instincts make him elegant and deadly; outside it, dangerously distractible.
Guardians of the Puff
Princess Puff
Princess of the Clean Puff
Princess Puff was once Puffdom’s most watched royal: beautiful, charming, adored, and far more interested in turning leadership into a lifestyle brand than doing the work of governing. Raised by Queen Airelynn, she always assumed the throne would one day be hers, but never expected duty, sacrifice, or mud to be part of the inheritance. She was not cruel; she simply confused attention with respect and popularity with public service.

After The Great Rip, her uncle Sir Gas exploits that reputation, blames her for poisoning the Realm, strips away her title, renames her Princess Queef, and exiles her to the Isle of Bide. Cut off from status, wealth, and applause, Puff is forced to confront the difference between being liked and being useful. Alongside the Guardians of the Puff, she begins rebuilding public trust, mastering Clean Puff, and growing from a disgraced influencer princess into the reluctant heart of the resistance—and perhaps the leader Puffdom truly needs.
Personal Trait
Princess Puff is a walking contradiction: a pampered royal influencer with a heroic streak that usually appears at the least convenient possible moment. Beneath the crown, filters, and catastrophic ego is someone who might actually become the leader Puffdom needs—assuming the mud, bad lighting, and consequences don’t kill her first.
Abilities
Channels soft golden Clean Puff energy to purify toxic zones, reduce pressure, restore and accelerate flow, and lift herself through the air. Her power grows stronger through discipline, emotional clarity, and genuine care for others.
Guardians of the Puff
Maximus
tiny titan
Maximus is the Guardians’ mystery baby: a fearless, pure-hearted bundle of chaos who may be tied to a world-changing prophecy, assuming anyone can decipher it between feeding time and diaper changes. He rides Rosie into toxic skies with the confidence of someone who has never heard of gravity, turns every Guardian shift into playtime, and approaches danger without understanding consequences.

No one knows why Maximus matters or what he may eventually become. For now, his arms and legs rarely follow instructions, stealth missions can collapse into sudden crying, and his diaper may qualify as a weapon. He depends on the Guardians for everything, yet gives them something Puffdom has nearly lost: innocence untouched by betrayal, revenge, or grudges.
Personal Trait
Maximus is pure chaos without malice: fearless because he does not understand danger, playful because every mission looks like a game, and unpredictable because reason has not entered the building yet. His innocence keeps the Guardians laughing, but his dependence turns every operation into a combination of resistance duty and emergency childcare.
Abilities
No magical power has revealed itself yet; Maximus’s abilities are instinctive, accidental, and catastrophically timed. His laughter can distract enemies, his cries can destroy any hope of stealth, and his diapers are potent enough to become battlefield hazards. His connection to the prophecy remains unexplained, making him either Puffdom’s smallest secret weapon or its most heavily supervised liability.
Guardians of the Puff
Lady Airabella
Matron of Mists
Lady Airabella was once Princess Puff’s loyal nanny and served within Puffdom’s inner sanctuary as a protector, caregiver, and royal mentor. When The Great Rip turned the Realm against Puff, Airabella remained beside her, carrying years of ancient wisdom, uncomfortable truths, and enough patience to transform a spoiled influencer into a genuine leader.

Now she is the calm heart of the Guardians, guiding the team from behind the scenes while quietly steering every conversation toward what she believes is best. Airabella is nurturing, perceptive, and deeply loyal, but her maternal authority can quickly become domineering. Beneath her noble composure lies a private life filled with guarded secrets, powerful desires, and a particular weakness for General Puff’s forearms.
Personal Trait
Airabella is a refined contradiction: a patient teacher with commanding instincts, a nurturing guardian who expects obedience, and a fountain of wisdom who occasionally delivers wildly inappropriate advice. She understands what everyone around her needs, although her own desires are much harder to keep under control.
Abilities
Airabella practices the Clean Puff Protocol, drawing magical power from Puffdom’s clean air and atmosphere. Through her Staff of Silent Storms, she can shape air currents, summon concealing fog, contain violent storms, and strike with powerful gusts. By controlling the rhythm of air entering the lungs, she can also steady frightened minds, restore focus, and keep the Guardians calm when everything around them begins to collapse.
Sir gas
The Gas Lord
Sir Gas was Queen Airelynn’s younger brother and a royal of Puffdom’s ancient Wind and Gas bloodline, but unlike his sister, he never saw the Realm as something to protect. Where Airelynn saw clean air, civic responsibility, and respect for her people, Gas saw missed profits, unmined wealth, and a kingdom foolish enough to waste its own hidden power. Charismatic, theatrical, and morally bankrupt, he treats the crown less like a duty and more like a deed of ownership.

After Airelynn refused to fracture the land for resources, Gas assembled the Fart Dynasty and helped unleash The Great Rip, tearing open the living chain, poisoning the Realm, and seizing power in the chaos. He fills the throne’s vacancy with fear, fumes, propaganda, and one expertly weaponized lie: blaming Princess Puff for the catastrophe. Puffdom now answers to a Mad King who is childish, narcissistic, half-planned, and somehow still dangerous precisely because his terrible ideas keep working.
Personal Trait
Sir Gas is a walking abuse of power: a greasy royal showman whose room-filling charisma makes even his worst instincts sound almost visionary. Beneath the swagger, threats, and theatrical confidence is a deeply insecure narcissist who mistakes domination for leadership and attention for legitimacy. The terrifying part isn’t that he’s a mastermind. It’s that his half-planned schemes keep succeeding just enough to make him believe he deserves the crown.
Abilities
Rules through fear, fumes, propaganda, and toxic self-confidence, weaponizing spectacle, intimidation, and public lies to control Puffdom. He turns poisoned air, fractured systems, and manipulated perception into tools of rule, making even terrible ideas feel inevitable. Gas is most dangerous not because he is a mastermind, but because his chaos keeps converting into power.
Lords of Emission
Methania
Mistress of Methane
Methania was once a high sorceress of Puffdom’s royal court, until her study of the forbidden Toxic Arts earned her exile. Rather than beg for forgiveness, she waited. When Sir Gas became vulnerable enough to manipulate, Methania offered him the power to tear open the Realm, helped create The Great Rip, and returned as the most valuable lieutenant of the new regime.

Sir Gas may sit on the throne, but Methania is the machinery beneath it. She wears loyalty like perfume, quietly turning his wounded ego into influence, protection, and access to power without the inconvenience of public blame. Patient, perceptive, and dangerously intelligent, she is content to let louder villains perform while she becomes the most powerful person no one notices.

Personal Trait
Methania studies people as carefully as she studies poison. She notices hunger, fear, vanity, and weakness before anyone else and waits until each one becomes useful. Her greatest strength is believing everyone can be manipulated; her greatest weakness is believing no one can resist her.
Abilities
Methania is a master of the forbidden Toxic Arts, allowing her to gather, concentrate, and transform toxins into magical weapons. She can draw power from poisoned air and corrupted environments, making every toxic zone in Puffdom a source of ammunition. At her most powerful, she can channel toxins into the Realm’s magical structures themselves—the same technique that helped tear open the Great Chain and cause The Great Rip.
Lords of Emission
CropDuster
The Brown Baron
CropDuster is the aerial menace of the Fart Dynasty: part decorated war pilot, part literal rat who should not legally be operating anything with wings. He once served in Puffdom’s royal aerial brigade, but peace left him bored, restless, and tragically short on things to explode. When The Great Rip created a war, he switched sides without hesitation and returned to the skies as the infamous Brown Baron.

CropDuster has no interest in ideology, royal bloodlines, or who technically owns the airspace. He cares about speed, altitude, fumes, buttons, cheese, and the moment before everyone below realizes something terrible is falling toward them. Filthy, twitchy, and impossible to command, he communicates through squeaks, frantic paw gestures, and toxic skywriting that somehow makes his intentions perfectly clear.
Personal Trait
CropDuster is an adaptable and tenacious survivor with the judgment of a firework thrown into a fuel tank. He can turn broken machinery and bad supplies into something operational, then immediately crash it by pressing the only button marked “DO NOT PRESS.” His ingenuity keeps him alive; his recklessness, impulsiveness, and complete rejection of hygiene keep everyone else reconsidering whether that is a good thing.
Abilities
CropDuster is an expert combat pilot specializing in low-altitude attacks, stealth bombardments, toxic crop-dusting runs, and rapid aerial escapes. He can improvise repairs, weapons, and flight systems from scrap, fumes, and unstable machinery, allowing him to keep fighting after crashes that should have ended both the mission and the rat. From the air, he can spread toxic clouds across entire regions, turning his aircraft into one of the Fart Dynasty’s most destructive pollution weapons.
